Fair Housing Contact Service in partnership with Cascade Locks Park Association will be hosting our 21st Annual “5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk to Promote Equal Housing Opportunity” on Saturday, April 3, 2010. Tamala M Skipper, Executive Director

Mrs. Skipper is responsible for monitoring all FHCS's program activities.  Under her leadership, FHCS has received excellent ratings from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She has twenty years of housing experience including housing counseling and discrimination intake/investigations.   Prior to her appointment as Executive Director in May 2004, she worked as a housing counselor, enforcement supervisor and Interim Executive Director with the agency.  Mrs. Skipper currently serves on the boards of the Urban Neighborhood Development Corporation and the Better Business Bureau.  She is a member of the Ways to work Committee and the United Way Class of 2005 Project Blueprint. 

Mrs. Skipper holds a BS in Industrial Management from the University of Akron and resides in Akron with her husband and two children.
